Gaelic Storm’s origins can be traced back to 1996, when Patrick Murphy and Steve Wehmeyer joined with Steve Twigger and Uillean piper Brian Walsh to perform at O’Brien’s Irish Pub and Restaurant in Santa Monica, California, of which Murphy was the manager. This led to a number of pub performances for the next year.

In 1997, Gaelic Storm appeared in the film Titanic as the steerage band. This catapulted them into touring, where they were met with extreme success and popularity. They have toured throughout the United States and Canada, in the United Kingdom, France, and Japan.

The Glenn Miller Orchestra is coming to Chandler. I got some info from wikipedia to explain who they are. Read it below. The show is at the Chandler Center for the Arts.

The Glenn Miller Orchestra was originally formed in 1937 by Glenn Miller. It was arranged around a clarinet and tenor saxophone playing melody, while three other saxophones played the harmony. Miller had already formed one band before this in 1936, but dissolved it as he considered it too similar to other bands of the era.

The new band became very popular and recorded a number of chart successes - among these were the ever-popular, “Moonlight Serenade,” “In the Mood”, “Tuxedo Junction”, “Chattanooga Choo Choo” and “I’ve Got a Gal in Kalamazoo.”

Gary Mullen Is a British singer and songwriter best known for closely impersonating Queen front man Freddie Mercury with his band The works.

Gary Mullen became a fan of Queen at an early age and had always been a keen singer. Eventually his love of singing led to him joining a couple of local bands where he cut his teeth playing live at various clubs around the country. Being a karaoke enthusiast he found much enjoyment in visiting The Horseshoe Bar in Glasgow where his uncanny performance of Queen songs always seemed to wow the crowd. Although writing lots of his own original material beforehand, Gary shot to fame after appearing on British TV talent show Stars In Their Eyes as Freddie Mercury, winning both the live grand final and going onto represent the United Kingdom in the Euro grand final versions of the show.
