Carrie Underwood is one of my favorite American Idols. She has a great voice. Carrie is coming to the Jobing Theater soon here in Phoenix. Here is some info from wiki:

Jimmy Eat World is one of my favorite bands. I have all the albums. They are playing at the Dodge Theater soon here in Phoenix. Here is some info from wikipedia:

Eventually, spurred by bands such as Fugazi and Sunny Day Real Estate, the band began to experiment with a sub-genre of the hardcore punk scene called “emocore”. As they began writing songs and touring in the indie scene, the band was surprised to find like-minded bands such as Christie Front Drive, Sense Field, and Seven Storey Mountain working on similar sounds.

As the band continued touring, it began to attract modest attention in the indie underground. This looks like it is an 80’s rock lover’s dream come true. To have Journey, Cheap Trick, and Heart in the same venue is pretty cool. The show is at the Cricket Pavilion here in Phoenix. Here is some info from wiki:

I have a buddy at work that just got a 24 pack of Rockstar. I don’t want to see him after the weekend. He is going to be so wired. The Rockstar music festival come to town every year. Here is some info from wiki:

By September 2004, an executive at Columbia Records found out about Nick’s song. Nick was soon jointly signed to INO Records and Columbia Records and released the single “Dear God.” A second single, “Joy To The World (A Christmas Prayer)” (a new solo recording), was released on November 16. It was supposed to be followed by a December release of a self-titled solo album, but the album had been pushed back; it did, however, get a limited release. Nick, along with Kevin and Joe, had written several other songs for the album.

The Police, Elvis Costello, and The Imposters are coming to Phoenix for a show. The concert is at the Cricket Pavilion. Here is some info from wiki:

Celine Dion is one of the most sung artists on American Idol and none of the contestants can sing her song like she can. She has a booming voice. She is coming to the Jobing.com Arena so get your tickets. Here is some info from wiki:

When I think of Tom Petty, I think of a bunch of potheads sitting back listing to easy going music. Tom is an American classic and he is coming to the Jobing.com Arena. Here is some info from wiki:

It is funny that I am doing a post on Alicia Keys because I have had that new song of hers that goes “everything is going to be all right” in my head. She is playing at the Jobing.com Arena soon so get your tickets. Here is some info from wiki:

Keys was born in the Manhattan neighborhood of Harlem, in New York City, New York, to Teresa “Terri” Augello, a paralegal and part-time actress, and Craig Cook, a flight attendant. Keys’ mother is of Irish, Scottish, and Italian descent and her father is Jamaican.

Keys’ parents separated during her early childhood, and she was subsequently raised by her mother during her formative years in Hell’s Kitchen, also in Manhattan. In 1985, Keys and a group of other girls played the parts of Rudy Huxtable’s sleepover guests in an episode of The Cosby Show called “Slumber Party”. The Rockstar Taste of Chaos Tour is a post-hardcore tour that was started in the winter of 2004 by Kevin Lyman, the creator of the successful Warped Tour. The Taste of Chaos tour was designed to bring in bands outside the usual punk, emo and metal format that the Warped Tour usually caters to. Are you ready for a show with singing and dancing? The Celtic Woman are coming to the Dodge theater here in Phoenix. Here is some info from wikipedia:

Celtic Woman was filmed on 15 September 2004 for PBS Television at The Helix, Dublin, Ireland in front of a sold out audience. Organized by producer Sharon Browne, Chairman & CEO Dave Kavanagh and musical director and composer David Downes, this performance was first broadcast on PBS during March 2005 in the United States, and within weeks the group’s eponymous debut album Celtic Woman reached #1 on Billboard’s World Music chart, eventually breaking a long-standing record on 22 July 2006 by staying at #1 for 68 weeks, and held that position for 81 weeks total. Much of the group’s success in America has been credited to the extensive PBS publicity throughout 2005. The live performance at The Helix was released on DVD alongside the studio album.

The release of the second album, Celtic Woman: A Christmas Celebration, on 19 October 2006 knocked their first album to the #2 spot on the World Music chart
