Barbra Streisand tickets in Phoenix
Barbra Streisand has an upcoming concert in Phoenix. Her wiki says:
In 2006, Streisand announced her intent to tour again, in an effort to raise money and awareness for multiple issues. The tour, which starts on October 4 at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, has no official title but is simply being referred to as: Streisand: The Tour. Special guests Il Divo will open for Streisand.
Doh! I thought Devo was opening for her on this tour… That would be worth paying for alone.
Instead I learn that it is “Il Divo” whoever or whatever that is. (Alright a little research tells me “Il Divo, Italian for “divine male performer”, is an international operatic pop vocal group under the Sony BMG music label. Il Divo is formed by singers Carlos MarÃn, Urs Bühler, David Miller, and Sébastien Izambard.”)
Anyway, even without Devo opening for her, Babs is gonna sell out. Since you are reading this I’m guess you are interested in getting tickets to the show anyway so I recommend you check these guys out. Last time I checked they had lots of good tickets for sale raning from $116 to $1800 each. (Presumably the latter tickets are for you contemporaries of Barbra who have a little extra money to spend on these sorts of things…) And just for good measure you might want to shop at the other two best aftermarket ticket sources here and here. Good luck in you hunt. I here the Funny Girl is still pretty dang good.
